A pleasant blend of beauty and brutality. Vindland captures elements of black metal and paints them with luscious melodies that give a listener chills down their spine. This album is epic and melancholic, yet like the sun within the clouds, a sense of hope shines through. A worthy addition to my library. It will acompany other great acts such as Burzum and Alcest. Honest music is hard to come by. Luckily, Vindland is a gem within the soil.
